Leone 70 - produced following a secret recipe with lots of different spices and herbs - "corrects" - as Tuscans are saying - the coffee at the end of the lunch or dinner or is just drunken with hot water for closing a menu.
According to an old tradition in the Serchio valley in the north of Lucca province, the families met on Christmas eve at the fireplace and people were served the punch, a warm Leone 70 with some lemon peel and sugar, filled up with coffee or hot water.
